I have some exciting news to share. I am now a Certified Sound Practitioner through the Auster Sound Method. This certification means I have completed a trauma-informed training program and fulfilled the observation hours needed to lead soundbath sessions using this method. I will maintain this certification annually to ensure the highest quality of care.

My work has always focused on helping you find your voice. But I’ve come to realize that exhaustion cannot be solved by strategy alone. We need to find stillness intentionally to reconnect with ourselves. Soundbath meditations offer a powerful way to do just that.
What Is the Auster Sound Method?
The Auster Sound Method is a globally recognized, one-of-a-kind sound therapy methodology founded by sound pioneer Sara Auster. The method teaches practitioners how to carefully craft sound vibrations to create a safe space for relaxation and emotional release. This method is designed with an understanding of trauma’s impact on the nervous system.
The training I completed covered:
The science behind sound and vibration
How trauma affects the body and mind
Techniques to facilitate soundbaths safely
Observation and practice hours to build skill and confidence
This method helps participants enter a deep state of calm, allowing the nervous system to reset and heal.
Why Soundbath Meditations Matter
In today’s fast-paced world, many people feel overwhelmed and exhausted. Traditional advice often focuses on productivity hacks or time management. But these strategies don’t address the root cause: our nervous systems are overstimulated and need rest.
Soundbath meditations provide:
Intentional stillness: A chance to pause and be present
Nervous system regulation: Soothing vibrations help calm stress responses
Emotional release: Sound can unlock feelings held in the body
Improved sleep and focus: Many report better rest and mental clarity after sessions
By offering these meditations, I want to support you in reconnecting with your inner calm and strength.

How I Use the Auster Sound Method in My Practice
With this certification, I now facilitate soundbath sessions that are trauma-informed and deeply restorative. Here’s what you can expect:
Personalized sessions: I tailor the sound experience based on your needs and comfort level.
Safe environment: The sessions are designed to feel secure and supportive.
Guided meditation: I lead you through gentle guidance to enhance relaxation.
Use of specific instruments: Including crystal bowls, chimes, and tuning forks chosen for their healing frequencies.
For example, one client shared how after a session, they felt a release of tension they hadn’t noticed before. Another found it easier to sleep deeply that night. These experiences show how sound can help us reconnect with ourselves beyond words.
The Science Behind Sound Healing
Research shows that sound vibrations can influence brain waves and nervous system activity. Certain frequencies encourage the brain to enter alpha and theta states, which are linked to relaxation and meditation.
Sound healing can:
Lower cortisol levels, reducing stress
Decrease heart rate and blood pressure
Enhance mood by increasing serotonin and dopamine
While more studies are needed, many people find soundbath meditations a valuable complement to other wellness practices.
How to Prepare for a Soundbath Session
To get the most from a soundbath, consider these tips:
Wear comfortable clothing
Find a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed
Use a yoga mat, blanket, or cushion to lie down
Set an intention for your session, such as relaxation or emotional release
Keep an open mind and allow yourself to experience the sounds fully
These simple steps help create the right conditions for deep relaxation.
Maintaining Certification and Commitment to Care
My certification through the Auster Sound Method requires annual renewal. This ensures I stay updated on best practices and continue to provide safe, effective sessions.
I am committed to ongoing learning and growth so I can support you with integrity and skill.
Bringing Stillness Into Your Life
