People will hate you the moment they meet you if you ask this one question.

🚨Media Alert 🎉
I woke up to a Google Alert that I was quoted in an article about how we define ourselves (and our self worth) beyond work.
In GOOD Worldwide Inc, writer Elyssa Goodman asks us to examine how we automatically center work when we’re meeting new people and getting to know who they are.
We typically lead with one question (I’ll let you read the article to see which one) but what does that answer really tell us?
So much of The Rest Revolution is about INTERRUPTING our defaults. Why do we lead with what we lead with? Are we prioritizing our actual priorities?
I don’t know.
Something about this article got me excited because it tells me the idea of “worth beyond work” is circulating more and more.
